Tatev is an industrial designer, with a special interest in lighting and public space design.
Her work is characterized by modular structures that lend themselves to a wide range of applications: whether to create playful designs, or for more practical purposes such as easy disassembly, the possibility of replacing or upgrading each part, etc. Her projects often use the geometry of regular polyhedra, which she breaks down into single modules that repeat to reconstitute the original polyhedron.
Tatev is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Design at Concordia University. Her thesis project focuses on the agency of objects, and their inherent politics.
